Lighthouse Brighton have been running a Queer Brighton exhibition since the start of October, featuring the work of Molly Landreth & Zoe Strauss. On Friday, 15th October, at 7pm, they will be hosting a Queer Pecha Kucha night.
Pecha Kucha – I am told – is a fun, fast-paced presentation format of 20 slides/20 seconds each, and for this night will be focused on a wide range of topics on Queer Brighton.
Apparently, Olu Jenzen of Brighton will be putting together a brief piece, with Charlie Witzel of the Informed Passions team, on gay men’s bareback pornography and its implications for sexual health promotion. Details of the evening can be found at the Lighthouse site.
Tickets are available in advance, £5 or £3 concession. There is a full bar is available, and it is described as likely to be “an interesting evening all round”.
Pass it on!
